Kentucky High School Volleyball - Bullitt East over Shelby County
September 18, 2023: Mt. Washington, KY 40047 The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Bullitt East Chargers (Mt. Washington, KY) and the visiting Shelby County Rockets (Shelbyville, KY), saw Bullitt East's volleyball squad beat Shelby County by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Bullitt East upgrades its record to 18-6 on the year. The Chargers travel to Nelson County (Bardstown, KY) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 19. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 16-4.
The Rockets now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they host Anderson County for a District 30 bout on Thursday, September 21. Shelby County will play a Bearcats squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Collins (Shelbyville, KY). The Bearcats record now stands at 8-6.
