September 18, 2023: Geneva, NY 14456 The Geneva Panthers (Geneva, NY) volleyball overcame the visiting North Rose-Wolcott Cougars (Wolcott, NY), 3-0 in Monday's non-league outing.
With the win, Geneva upgrades its record to 4-4 on the year. The Panthers host Wayne (Ontario Center, NY) to play the Eagles in a Section 5 Finger Lakes - East outing on Tuesday, September 19. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 1-5. Wayne lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Irondequoit (Rochester, NY)
The Cougars now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Marion for a Section 5 Wayne County outing on Wednesday, September 20. North Rose-Wolcott will play a Black Knights squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Gananda Central (Walworth, NY). The Black Knights record now stands at 1-3.
