In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting Kankakee Valley Kougars volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the North Newton Spartans.

The Kougars (14-8) will now prepare for their battle against Griffith (Griffith, IN). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 6-13 record. In their last battle, Griffith achieved victory over Calumet New Tech (Gary, IN), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
