Connecticut High School Football - Platt sneaks past Berlin
September 18, 2024: Meriden, CT 06451 The Platt Panthers football squad scored 18 points and limited the visiting Berlin Redcoats to 14 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Panthers now hold a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host North Haven for a non-league test on Thursday, September 26. Platt will meet a Nighthawks squad coming off a 16-7 non-league win over Hamden (Hamden, CT). The Nighthawks record now stands at 2-0.
With the defeat, Berlin drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Redcoats travel to Hand (Madison, CT) to meet the Tigers in a non-league test on Thursday, September 26. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 0-1. Hand lost 27-0 in their recent non-league test against Fairfield Prep (Fairfield, CT)
