September 18, 2024: Huntersville, NC 28078 Christ the King Crusaders (Huntersville, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Charlotte Catholic Cougars (Charlotte, NC), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Christ the King improves its record to 10-4 on the season. The Crusaders host Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC) to face the Pride in a test on Thursday, September 19. The Pride go into the test with a record of 7-3.
The Cougars now own a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Providence for a non-league test on Thursday, September 19. Charlotte Catholic will face a Panthers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 9-4.
