September 18, 2024: Greensboro, NC 27405 The Grimsley Whirlies soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Page Pirates to 0 in the Whirlies league victory on Wednesday.
The Whirlies now hold a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Southwest Guilford for a Metro 4A bout on Monday, September 23. Grimsley will play a Cowboys squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC). The Cowboys record now stands at 3-5.
With the loss, Page moves to 1-7 on the year. The Pirates travel to Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC) to play the Nighthawks in a Metro 4A bout on Friday, September 20. The Nighthawks go into the bout with a record of 2-4.
