In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Gretna Dragons softball team scored a nice 14-1 victory over the Standing Bear Grizzlies.

The Dragons (24-0) will now prepare for their match against Marian (Omaha, NE). The Crusaders go into the non-league match with a 5-11 record. In their last match, Marian was routed by Millard South (Omaha, NE), 12-4, in a league match.

In their next game, the Grizzlies battle the Pius X Thunderbolts (Lincoln, NE) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 24. Standing Bear will attempt to better on its 3-14 season record.
