In Wednesday's non-league match, the Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Carolina International Comets (Concord, NC), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Cardinals battle the Lincoln Charter Eagles (Denver, NC) in a Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A match, on Thursday, September 19. Corvian Community will attempt to move on its 5-8 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 7-8 record after their 3-2 league loss to Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC).
