The Lexington Yellowjackets volleyball squad (Lexington, NC), was defeated 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC)

With the win, Central Davidson improves its record to 7-5 on the season. The Spartans travel to Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC) to encounter the Grizzlies in a Mid-Piedmont 3A battle on Tuesday, September 24. The Grizzlies go into the battle with a record of 9-7. Oak Grove won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Montgomery Central (Troy, NC)

The Yellowjackets now own a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Davidson for a Central Carolina 1A/2A battle on Thursday, September 19.
