In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Corona del Sol Aztecs volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Valley Vista Monsoon.

The Aztecs (20-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Sunnyslope (Phoenix, AZ). The Vikings come into the 6A - Central challenge with a 13-2 record.

Next, the Monsoon meet the West Point Dragons (Avondale, AZ) in a 6A - West Valley challenge, on Tuesday, September 24. Valley Vista will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record.
