In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Germantown Red Devils football squad scored a close 40-35 triumph over the Lausanne Collegiate Lynx.

The Red Devils (5-0) will now prepare for their battle against Memphis Central (Memphis, TN). The Warriors go into the non-league battle with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, Memphis Central nipped Brighton (Brighton, TN), 28-21, in a league battle.

The Lynx now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Westview for a non-league battle on Friday, September 26. Lausanne Collegiate will play a Chargers squad coming off a 70-0 league win over McNairy Central (Selmer, TN). The Chargers record now stands at 4-0.
