The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Montgomery Aztecs (San Diego, CA) and the host Rancho Christian Eagles (Temecula, CA), witnessed Montgomery's football squad edge Rancho Christian by a tally of 33-30.

The Aztecs (4-1) will now prepare for their bout against Mission Bay (San Diego, CA). The Buccaneers go into the non-league bout with a 5-0 record. In their last bout, Mission Bay nudged Coronado (Coronado, CA), 49-14, in a non-league bout.

The Eagles now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Valley View for a Sunbelt bout on Thursday, October 2.
