In Thursday's league match, the host Wilson Wildcats football squad scored a close 34-27 triumph over the Seagoville Dragons.

The Wildcats (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Jefferson (Dallas, TX). The Patriots come into the 5A-2 Region II District 5 match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Jefferson was nudged by Adamson (Dallas, TX), 26-14, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Dragons meet the Samuell Spartans (Dallas, TX) in a 5A-2 Region II District 5 challenge, on Friday, September 26. Seagoville will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Spartans go into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 28-15 league loss to Hillcrest (Dallas, TX).
