Kentucky High School Football - Henderson County thwarts Apollo
September 18, 2025: Owensboro, KY 42301 Henderson County Colonels (Henderson, KY) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Apollo Eagles (Owensboro, KY), 28-14 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Henderson County improves its record to 4-0 on the season. The Colonels host Madisonville-North Hopkins (Madisonville, KY) to play the Maroons in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 25. The Maroons go into the battle with a record of 1-0.
The Eagles now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Owensboro for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 9.
