September 18, 2025: Danville, CA 94526 The Monte Vista Mustangs football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting James Logan Colts to 8 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Mustangs now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host College Park for a non-league test on Thursday, September 25. Monte Vista will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 28-6 non-league loss to Acalanes (Lafayette, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 1-2.
With the defeat, James Logan moves to 1-3 on the season. The Colts travel to Castro Valley (Castro Valley, CA) to face the Trojans in a challenge on Thursday, September 25. The Trojans go into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Castro Valley won 28-19 in their recent non-league challenge against Wilcox (Santa Clara, CA)
