September 18, 2025: Simsbury, CT 06070 The Newington Co-op Indians football squad scored 20 points and limited the host Simsbury Trojans to 7 in the Indians non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Indians now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Enfield for a non-league test on Thursday, September 25.
With the defeat, Simsbury drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Trojans host Hall/Conard (West Hartford, CT) to face the Warchiefs in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 26. The Warchiefs go into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Hall/Conard lost 46-6 in their recent non-league challenge against New Britain (New Britain, CT)
