Michigan High School Football - Center Line can't hold off Marine City
September 18, 2025: Marine City, MI 48039 Marine City Mariners (Marine City, MI) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Center Line Panthers (Center Line, MI), 18-16 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Marine City advances its record to 2-2 on the season. The Mariners host Sterling Heights (Sterling Heights, MI) to play the Stallions in a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 2. The Stallions go into the challenge with a record of 0-4. Sterling Heights lost 40-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Grosse Pointe North (Grosse Pointe, MI)
The Panthers (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Clair (St. Clair, MI). The Saints go into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, St. Clair nipped Marine City (Marine City, MI), 26-0, in a non-league test.
