Georgia High School Football - Crisp County loses to Sumter County
September 18, 2025: Cordele, GA 31015 Sumter County Panthers (Americus, GA) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Crisp County Cougars (Cordele, GA), 28-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Sumter County advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Panthers travel to Lee County (Leesburg, GA) to confront the Trojans in a non-league match on Thursday, October 9. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 3-2.
Coming up next, the Cougars confront the Worth County Rams (Sylvester, GA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 25. Crisp County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
