North Carolina High School Football - North Davidson can't hold off Davie County
September 18, 2025: Lexington, NC 27295 Davie County War Eagles (Mocksville, NC) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team tip the host North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC), 21-14 in a non-league match.
The War Eagles (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC). The Grizzlies come into the non-league match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Oak Grove tipped Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 26-0, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Black Knights meet the Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 25. North Davidson will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Spartans come into the match with a 4-0 record after their 32-16 non-league win over Ledford (Thomasville, NC).
