North Carolina High School Volleyball - East Columbus tips North Duplin
September 18, 2025: Lake Waccamaw, NC 28450 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the East Columbus Gators (Lake Waccamaw, NC) and the visiting North Duplin Rebels (Calypso, NC), observed East Columbus's volleyball team hold off North Duplin by a count of 2-1.
The Gators (7-0) will now prepare for their contest against Fairmont (Fairmont, NC). The Golden Tornadoes enter the non-league contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Fairmont was tipped by South Brunswick (Southport, NC), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Rebels encounter the Union Spartans (Rose Hill, NC) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 23. North Duplin will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Spartans go into the battle with a 2-11 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC).
