With the win, Nansemond River improves its record to 5-3 on the season. The Warriors host Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA) to encounter the Grizzlies in a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 24. The Grizzlies go into the battle with a record of 10-0. Grassfield won 2-1 in their recent league challenge against Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA)
