September 18, 2025: Albuquerque, NM 87122 The La Cueva Bears soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Albuquerque Academy Chargers to 0 in the Bears non-league victory on Thursday.
The Bears now possess a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Rio Grande for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 20. La Cueva will play a Ravens squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Manzano (Albuquerque, NM). The Ravens record now stands at 7-1.
With the loss, Albuquerque Academy moves to 3-5 on the year. The Chargers host Valley (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Vikings in a 4A District 6 bout on Saturday, September 20. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 3-8. Valley won 5-2 in their recent non-league game against Belen (Belen, NM)
