In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Jay County Patriots soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Bellmont Braves.

With the triumph, Jay County moves its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Woodlan (Woodburn, IN) to confront the Warriors in a Allen County outing on Saturday, September 20.
