Kansas High School Soccer - Gardner-Edgerton toppled by Shawnee Mission East
September 18, 2025: Shawnee Mission, KS 66208 Shawnee Mission East Lancers (Shawnee Mission, KS) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Gardner-Edgerton Trailblazers (Gardner, KS), 7-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Shawnee Mission East advances its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Lancers host Mill Valley (Shawnee, KS) to clash with the Jaguars in a Sunflower test on Saturday, September 20. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 2-2. Mill Valley lost 2-1 in their recent league test against Olathe East (Olathe, KS)
The Trailblazers now have a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Lawrence for a Sunflower outing on Tuesday, September 23. Gardner-Edgerton will play a Lions squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Lawrence Free State (Lawrence, KS). The Lions record now stands at 6-0.
