Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Honesdale nudges Valley View
September 18, 2025: Honesdale, PA 18431 The Honesdale Hornets soccer squad scored 2 points and held the visiting Valley View Cougars to 1 in the Hornets league victory on Thursday.
The Hornets now hold a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Scranton Prep for a Lackawanna - Division I game on Tuesday, September 23. Honesdale will face a Cavaliers team coming off a 1-0 league loss to North Pocono (Covington Township, PA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 3-6.
The Cougars (4-5) will now prepare for their game against Dunmore (Dunmore, PA). The Bucks enter the non-league game with a 5-3 record. In their last game, Dunmore held off Lakeland (Jermyn, PA), 3-0, in a league game.
