In Thursday's league outing, the visiting Nichols Vikings soccer squad scored a tight 7-3 win over the St. Francis Red Raiders.

The Vikings (2-3) will now prepare for their outing against International Prep at Grover (Buffalo, NY). The Presidents enter the non-league outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, International Prep at Grover tipped City Honors (Buffalo, NY), 8-0, in a non-league test.

The Red Raiders now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake Shore for a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. St. Francis will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 10-3 non-league loss to Lackawanna (Lackawanna, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 2-3.
