West Virginia High School Soccer - Princeton nudges Oak Hill
September 18, 2025: Oak Hill, WV 25901 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Princeton Tigers (Princeton, WV) and the host Oak Hill Red Devils (Oak Hill, WV), saw Princeton's soccer squad hold off Oak Hill by a count of 2-1.
The Tigers (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against St. Albans (St. Albans, WV). The Red Dragons enter the non-league battle with a 0-9 record. In their last match, St. Albans was tipped by George Washington (Charleston, WV), 7-0, in a league match.
The Red Devils now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Greenbrier East for a non-league match on Tuesday, September 23. Oak Hill will meet a Spartans team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Nitro (Nitro, WV). The Spartans record now stands at 4-5.
