Illinois High School Soccer - Reed-Custer toppled by Peotone
September 18, 2025: Braidwood, IL 60408 Peotone Blue Devils (Peotone, IL) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the host Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL), 6-2 in a league test.
With the triumph, Peotone moves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Lisle (Lisle, IL) to clash with the Lions in a Illinois Central Eight outing on Saturday, September 20. The Lions go into the outing with a record of 0-8. Lisle lost 5-3 in their recent league outing against Herscher (Herscher, IL)
Next up, the Comets play the St. Anne Cardinals (St. Anne, IL) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 20. Reed-Custer will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Cardinals go into the outing with a 6-6 record after their 4-0 league loss to Beecher (Beecher, IL).
