September 18, 2025: Nahunta, GA 31553 In Thursday's league game, the host Brantley County Herons softball squad scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Jeff Davis Yellowjackets.
With the triumph, Brantley County improves its record to 10-8 on the year. The Herons host Charlton County (Folkston, GA) to play the Indians in a non-league game on Monday, September 22. The Indians enter the game with a record of 11-9. Charlton County won 16-0 in their recent league match against Echols County (Statenville, GA)
In their next game, the Yellowjackets battle the Academy for Classical Education Gryphons (Macon, GA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 19. Jeff Davis will attempt to better on its 13-5 season record. The Gryphons come into the match with a 15-6 record after their 7-5 non-league loss to Lamar County (Barnesville, GA).
