The South Atlanta Hornets routed the host Salem Seminoles softball team by a margin of 18-3 in Thursday's league battle.

The Hornets now sport a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Miller Grove for a 2A Region 6 battle on Tuesday, September 23. South Atlanta will encounter a Wolverines team coming off a 23-6 league win over Redan (Stone Mountain, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 11-1.

With the loss, Salem drops to 1-12 on the campaign. The Seminoles travel to Forest Park (Forest Park, GA) to meet the Panthers in a non-league test on Monday, September 22. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 7-7. Forest Park lost 17-0 in their recent league test against Midtown (Atlanta, GA)
