September 18, 2025: Winchester, IN 47394 The Anderson Indians volleyball team (Anderson, IN), was beaten 3-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Winchester Community Golden Falcons (Winchester, IN)
The Golden Falcons (17-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Seton Catholic (Richmond, IN). The Cardinals come into the non-league challenge with a 7-9 record. In their last challenge, Seton Catholic gained a win over Liberty Christian (Anderson, IN), 3-0, in a league test.
The Indians now sport a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Liberty Christian for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 23.
Match Summary
Thursday evening the Lady Falcons hosted the Lady Indians of Anderson at the Historic Winchester Fieldhouse. In the Varsity Match, the Lady Falcons beat the Lady Indians 3-0 with the following scores: 25-1, 25-8, 25-17. This victory improves the Lady Falcons to 17-2 for a season record and 5-0 for conference play. In the JV Match, the Lady Falcons were also victorious beating the Lady Indians 2-0 with the following scores: 25-5, 25-13. The Lady Falcons will be in action Monday, September 22nd at Seton Catholic; Tuesday, September 23rd at Centerville, and then home Saturday morning September 27th at the Winchester Fieldhouse facing the Lady Rockets of Union in the Randolph County Volleyball Tournament. - Coach Matt
