The Blacksburg Wildcats volleyball squad (Blacksburg, SC), was edged 3-2 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting High Point Academy Grizzlies (Spartanburg, SC)

With the win, High Point Academy improves its record to 6-10 on the season. The Grizzlies travel to Brashier Middle College Charter (Simpsonville, SC) to encounter the Bengal in a battle on Tuesday, September 30. The Bengal go into the battle with a record of 3-5.

The Wildcats now own a 1-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greenville Tech Charter for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 25. Blacksburg will meet a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Landrum (Landrum, SC). The Warriors record now stands at 0-7.
