The Liberty Leopards volleyball squad (Youngstown, OH), dropped 3-0 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Brookfield Warriors (Brookfield, OH)

With the win, Brookfield improves its record to 6-8 on the season. The Warriors host Crestview (Columbiana, OH) to battle the Rebels in a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Grey contest on Tuesday, September 23. The Rebels go into the battle with a record of 14-0. Crestview won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Southeast (Ravenna, OH)

The Leopards now own a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newton Falls for a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Grey battle on Tuesday, September 23. Liberty will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Mineral Ridge (Mineral Ridge, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 8-6.
