Missouri High School Volleyball - Charleston overwhelmed by Richland
September 18, 2025: Essex, MO 63846 Richland Rebels (Essex, MO) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Charleston Bluejays (Charleston, MO), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Richland advances its record to 2-6 on the campaign. The Rebels host Risco (Risco, MO) to play the Tigers in a Class 1 District 2 challenge on Monday, September 22. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 9-6. Risco won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Senath-Hornersville (Senath, MO)
Next up, the Bluejays face the Zalma Bulldogs (Zalma, MO) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 22. Charleston will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record. The Bulldogs go into the game with a 1-9 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Woodland (Marble Hill, MO).
