September 18, 2025: Cherokee, NC 28719 The Cherokee Braves (Cherokee, NC) volleyball knocked off the visiting Murphy Bulldogs (Murphy, NC), 3-0 in Thursday's league contest.
The Braves (13-6) will now prepare for their contest against North Iredell (Olin, NC). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, North Iredell notched a victory over Mooresville (Mooresville, NC), 3-2, in a league contest.
Next, the Bulldogs battle the Franklin Panthers (Franklin, NC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 22. Murphy will attempt to move on its 6-6 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 16-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Brevard (Brevard, NC).
