Virginia High School Volleyball - Mountain Mission bounced by Cornerstone Christian Academy
September 18, 2025: Abingdon, VA 24210 Cornerstone Christian Academy Lions (Abingdon, VA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Mountain Mission Challengers (Grundy, VA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Cornerstone Christian Academy improves its record to 6-9 on the season. The Lions travel to Council (Council, VA) to face the Cobras in a non-league test on Monday, September 22. The Cobras go into the test with a record of 0-6. Council lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Holston (Damascus, VA)
The Challengers now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cornerstone Christian Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, October 9.
