In Thursday's league challenge, the host Eastern Ramblers volleyball squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Roosevelt Roughriders.

With the win, Eastern advances its record to 6-0 on the season. The Ramblers travel to MacArthur (Washington, DC) to face the Mammoths in a DCIAA test on Saturday, September 20. The Mammoths go into the test with a record of 5-1. MacArthur won 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Banneker (Washington, DC)

Next, the Roughriders play the Banneker Bulldogs (Washington, DC) in a DCIAA challenge, on Saturday, September 20. Roosevelt will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 2-0 league loss to MacArthur (Washington, DC).
