The Emerald Vikings (Greenwood, SC) volleyball knocked off the visiting Southside Tigers (Greenville, SC), 3-0 in Thursday's league bout.

The Vikings now hold a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they host Fountain Inn for a AAAA Region 1 match on Tuesday, September 23. Emerald will battle a Fury squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Westside (Anderson, SC). The Fury record now stands at 3-11.
