Virginia High School Volleyball - Maggie Walker can't hold off Freeman
September 18, 2025: Richmond, VA 23229 The Freeman Mavericks tipped the visiting Maggie Walker volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Thursday's league bout.
The Mavericks now possess a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Deep Run for a Colonial bout on Tuesday, September 23. Freeman will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 league win over Hermitage (Richmond, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-0.
With the loss, Maggie Walker drops to 6-4 on the campaign. The travel to Mechanicsville (Mechanicsville, VA) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Monday, September 22. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 7-0. Mechanicsville won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Patrick Henry (Ashland, VA)
