Maryland High School Volleyball - Glen Burnie can't hold off Old Mill
September 18, 2025: Millersville, MD 21108 The Old Mill Patriots tipped the visiting Glen Burnie Gophers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next up, the Patriots confront the Southern Bulldogs (Harwood, MD) in a Class 2A West Region II bout, on Wednesday, September 24. Old Mill will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 3-2 league loss to Chesapeake Science Point (Hanover, MD).
With the loss, Glen Burnie drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Gophers travel to Severn Run (Severn, MD) to clash with the Wolves in a Class 4A East Region I bout on Thursday, September 25. The Wolves come into the bout with a record of 4-1.
