Pennsylvania High School Volleyball - Mercyhurst Prep can't get by Iroquois

Iroquois Braves (Erie, PA) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad tip the host Mercyhurst Prep Lakers (Erie, PA), 3-2 in a league challenge.

The Braves (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Cathedral Prep (Erie, PA). The Ramblers come into the District 10 Region 4 challenge with a 5-9 record. In their last challenge, Cathedral Prep was nudged by St. Mary's (Lancaster, NY), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lakers play the Slippery Rock Rockets (Slippery Rock, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 20. Mercyhurst Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Sharpsville (Sharpsville, PA).
