September 18, 2025: Asheboro, NC 27205 In Thursday's league match, the Uwharrie Charter Academy Eagles (Asheboro, NC) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC), by a count of 3-0.
The Eagles now possess a 14-3 record. They play next when they travel to Ragsdale for a non-league bout on Monday, September 22. Uwharrie Charter Academy will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Dudley (Greensboro, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 6-7.
With the loss, Jordan-Matthews drops to 4-11 on the campaign. The Jets travel to Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC) to battle the Cougars in a Four Rivers 3A/4A match on Monday, September 22. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 9-8. Southwestern Randolph won 3-0 in their recent league match against Northwood (Pittsboro, NC)
