Leon Lions (Tallahassee, FL) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Lions (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Madison County (Madison, FL). The Cowboys come into the non-league challenge with a 8-6 record. In their last challenge, Madison County beat Fort White (Fort White, FL), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Vikings meet the Madison County Cowboys (Madison, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 18. Lowndes will attempt to upgrade on its 22-8 season record. The Cowboys come into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Fort White (Fort White, FL).
