Michigan High School Volleyball - New Lothrop over Merrill
September 18, 2025: New Lothrop, MI 48460 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the New Lothrop Hornets (New Lothrop, MI) and the visiting Merrill Vandals (Merrill, MI), observed New Lothrop's volleyball team top Merrill by a tally of 2-0.
The Hornets (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Durand (Durand, MI). The Railroaders enter the Mid-Michigan Athletic contest with a 6-10 record. In their last contest, Durand was beaten by Laingsburg (Laingsburg, MI), 2-1, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Vandals meet the Montabella Mustangs (Blanchard, MI) in a Mid-State contest, on Tuesday, September 23. Merrill will attempt to upgrade on its 0-16 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 2-16 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Montague (Montague, MI).
