The crowd at Friday's league bout between the McDermitt Bulldogs (McDermitt, NV) and the host Eureka Vandals (Eureka, NV), saw McDermitt's volleyball squad nip Eureka by a tally of 1-0.

With the win, McDermitt upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The Bulldogs host Smith Valley (Smith, NV) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 20. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

The Vandals now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Round Mountain for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 27. Eureka will play a Knights squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Wells (Wells, NV). The Knights record now stands at 11-6.
