In their next game, the Matadors face the West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league bout, on Monday, September 26. Sandia will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record.
The Hornets (0-4) will now prepare for their bout against St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM). The Sartans enter the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, St. Pius X was overwhelmed by Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM), 14-7, in a league bout.
