The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Manchester Panthers (Akron, OH) and the visiting Central Christian Comets (Kidron, OH), saw Manchester's volleyball squad beat Central Christian by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Manchester upgrades its record to 3-8 on the year. The Panthers host Canton South (Canton, OH) to play the Wildcats in a Principals bout on Tuesday, September 20. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 1-7.

The Comets now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they host Loudonville for a Mid-Buckeye bout on Tuesday, September 20. Central Christian will play a Redbirds squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over New London (New London, OH). The Redbirds record now stands at 11-1.
