September 19, 2022: Spotsylvania, VA 22553 The Powhatan Indians (Powhatan, VA) volleyball tipped the host Spotsylvania Knights (Spotsylvania, VA), 3-2 in Monday's non-league outing.
With the win, Powhatan upgrades its record to 3-3 on the year. The Indians travel to Clover Hill (Midlothian, VA) to play the Cavaliers in a Dominion outing on Tuesday, September 20. The Cavaliers go into the outing with a record of 3-0. Clover Hill won 3-1 in their recent league outing against Monacan (Richmond, VA)
The Knights now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to King George for a Battlefield outing on Tuesday, September 20. Spotsylvania will play a Foxes squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Jamestown (Williamsburg, VA). The Foxes record now stands at 7-1.
