September 19, 2023: Tacoma, WA 98405 Bellarmine Prep Lions (Tacoma, WA) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Emerald Ridge Jaguars (South Hill, WA), 2-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Lions confront the Olympia Bears (Olympia, WA) in a 4A South Puget Sound challenge, on Thursday, September 21. Bellarmine Prep will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Bears enter the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 3-0 league loss to Sumner (Sumner, WA).
The Jaguars now possess a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Puyallup for a 4A South Puget Sound challenge on Thursday, September 21. Emerald Ridge will confront a Vikings team coming off a 3-1 league win over Bethel (Spanaway, WA). The Vikings record now stands at 4-0.
