September 19, 2023: Bellingham, WA 98226 The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Lynden Lions (Lynden, WA) and the host Meridian Trojans (Bellingham, WA), saw Lynden's soccer squad knock off Meridian by a margin of 3-1.
The Lions now sport a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Ferndale for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest test on Thursday, September 21. Lynden will meet a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Meridian drops to 2-2 on the season. The Trojans travel to Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA) to meet the Pioneers in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest test on Thursday, September 21. The Pioneers come into the test with a record of 0-4. Nooksack Valley lost 8-1 in their recent non-league test against University Prep (Seattle, WA)
